Friends of Belle Isle Meetings

Founded in 2001, the Friends of Belle Isle State Park, a non-profit 501c3 organization works to support the park through advocacy, volunteerism, community relations, event / program sponsorship, and fundraising.
Show your support and join today!
The Friends support a variety of special events and programs in the park, including the annual Music by the River series, the fall 5K Run/Walk, the annual Easter Egg Hunt, and more.

Join the Friends of Belle Isle. Your membership fee and any donations are tax-deductible. Friends are not required to volunteer or attend all meetings. Simply by becoming a member you are supporting the park.
Native plants can be found in the demonstration beds around the visitor center that were planted by the Northern Neck Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society, www.nnnps.org/demonstration_gardens.html
The Friends of Belle Isle in partnership with the Virginia Association for Parks is raising funds for museum quality exhibits in the new Visitor Center on the shores of the Rappahannock River.
